- Incorporated and obtained tax-exempt status for the Trustees of the Baltimore City College Scholarship Fund which subsequently has distributed hundreds of thousands of dollars in endowed scholarship annual awards
- Established Alumni Author collection for school library
- Revived the annual Hall of Fame selection and induction and providing annual financial support for the ceremony and hospitality events
- Inaugurated and continue the publication of the BCCAA Newsletter
- Consorted with municipal government to install a new roof and new windows
- Assisted negotiations to locate personal collection of Eric Goldman in the school library
- Cultivated Baltimore City mayor and school system superintendent to increase funding for academic programs
- Provided a 50-year reunion recognition certificate

- Provided large felt hanging banners for display school auditorium and library, and a smaller one for use by student groups at off campus appearances
- Assisted in the recruitment of prospective students, including booth participation at BCC open house events
- Purchased identification signage for Alumni Field and stadium; and gym scoreboards
- Conducted Castle celebration in recognition of the school building’s 75th Anniversary and 75 Thousand Campaign which raised over $92,000 including 82 donations of one thousand dollars each
- Prepared and installed display of Castle Celebration 75th Anniversary memorabilia
- Purchase scorers table, public address system and team seating for gymnasium
- Initiated a regularly updated, main hall bulletin board devoted to news of alumni
- Purchased a Hammond B3 organ, two Lesley speakers, rostrum and three ceremonial chairs for the auditorium
- Purchased varsity team championship banners for the gymnasium
- Qualified for City of Baltimore, State of Maryland, and Federal charitable contribution payroll deductions
- Acquired a listing on the National Register of Historic Places by the U.S. Department of the Interior and a designation as a Baltimore City Landmark by the Mayor and City Council of Baltimore for the “Castle On The Hill”
- Provided cast bronze recognition plaques for Hall of Fame inductees, class valedictorian, permanent endowments, Medal of Honor recipients, Vietnam war memorial, Historic Places listing, and City Landmark designation
- Interceded to obtain removal of all antennas from the building’s center tower that caused structural and aesthetic damage
- Continuing sponsorship of annual Athletic Department recognition event
- Implemented the Virginia K. Fowble Memorial Fund for library enhancement
- Co-sponsorship of the annual City Poly alumni golf outing
- Sending condolence cards to kin of those alumni identified as deceased
- Sponsor student participation in competitions, student abroad, and conferences including an annual tour of landmarks of the Civil Rights movement in the Deep South
- Furnished/decorated the office for alumni organizations on Heritage Hall
- Provided City Forever decorative wooden threshold banner for auditorium entrance, signage for Alumni Authors collection display cases and venue identification for the library’s Corbin Gwaltney Study
- Mitigated against disruptive landscaping proposals for school grounds
- Instigated the naming of the William Donald Schaefer Auditorium in the school building
- Endorsed the formation of Women of City as organization affinity group in order to boost the presence visibility and leadership of female graduates
- Initiated and funded underwriting for the 175th anniversary gala in 2014
- Conduct advocacy activities during State of Maryland legislature sessions
- Advocated for and achieved the installation of a new playing surface for Alumni Field
- Created the Leo Sirota Memorial award to annually recognize outstanding alumni service benefiting the organization and the school
- Hosted the gala event celebrating the 150th anniversary of the 1866 founding of the Alumni Association and commemorating the milestone with the 150 FOR 150th solicitation which attracted 165 donors of $150 or more
- Supports the A Few Good Men club-based mentoring for male students which attempts to help every student become a better student and productive citizen
- Initiated the naming and provided the signage for George Petrides Stadium at Alumni Field Funding for the One City One Book project; including a seminar session with each year's book author, to encourage school wide reading enrichment
Today Baltimore City College and the Castle On The Hill endure because the Alumni Association was founded in 1866.
