Hey Knights!!

In October 2014, at the BCC 175th Anniversary Gala, Mr. J.D Merrill BCC ’09, announced a need to renovate the library at our dear institution and in December 2014 launched a $2 million fund raising effort to build a new library.  The project broke ground in January 2015 and the renovation was underway.  Fast forward to September 2016, the new library is COMPLETE and will be open to students, faculty and staff at the start of the 2016-2017 school year.

City Forever!

On Sunday, July 24th the BCCAA Inc. held its 2016 Crab Feast at Tall Cedar Hall 2501 Putty Hill Avenue in Baltimore. The place was filled wall to wall with over 622 people; alumni, family, friends and vendors with plenty of City College apparel. The crabs were flowing and guests danced to the sounds of DJ DaChozen1ne, Walter Robinson Jr. BCC c/o 95. They learned the latest line dances, taught by Tamika Peters BCC c/o 97, including the new “Get Up Knights” sure to be a staple at many City College events. Congratulations to our City Knight Grab Bag Raffle winner, Sharia Robinson, fiancee’ of Keith Roles BCC c/o 93. We also had the Membership Committee on hand to welcome alumni home by joining the BCCAA Inc. and Ride with Pride, J Jenkins also stopped by to take orders for our beloved “Castle” school rings.
