The Leo Award

The recipient of the Leo Award must be a BCC Alumni Association member or a BCC alumni or a friend of BCC. The recipient must have made the most significant contribution to the furtherance of the Alumni Association and the Baltimore City College during the twelve-month period - October through September - prior to the organization's annual meeting in November.

The Alumni Association selection committee for the Leo Award chooses the recipient after a review of nominations that may be submitted by active, associate, and honorary life members of the Alumni Association.

To formally and annually recognize the recipient(s) of the Leo Award beginning with its inauguration in 1998, a plaque presentation has occurred at the Annual Meetings of the BCC Alumni Association each November.
