Calvin Anderson '63
TREASURER
Calvin Anderson graduated from Baltimore City College High School in June 1963. He attended Morgan State University (formerly Morgan State College). Mr. Anderson was sent to the Republic of South Viet Nam, wounded and received the Purple Heart Medal, a Bronze Star, Combat Infantry Badge and other Viet Nam Campaign Medals.
Office of Inspector General, Director, HEW National Fraud, Waste, and Abuse Hot Line.
Office of Inspector General, Director of Health Care Administrative Sanctions Staff, managed a National Program to exclude Health Care professionals who perpetrated crimes against the Medicare, Medicaid and all Federal Health Care Programs, and doctors who defaulted on Medical School payments owed to the Federal Government.
During his retirement party to celebrate 38 years of DHHS service, the Deputy Inspector General for Investigations presented a signed Congratulation letter from the President of the United States, and provided him with his mounted retired credentials.
BCC Alumni Activities
- In 1992, elected President of the BCC Alumni Assoc.
- In 1994, elected Treasurer of the BCC Alumni Assoc.
- In 2001, selected Co-Alumni of the Year Award
- In 2003, inducted into the Baltimore City College Hall of Fame.
- In 2004, elected President of Trustees of the Baltimore City College Scholarship Fund, Inc., a fund over $1.5 million
